The Quiltazoid (patent pending) attaches to the front of your long arm quilting machine and enables you to make endless stitch designs. The standard Quiltazoid package will create perfect circles from 1” to 12” in diameter. (Click here for a video on making circles). It includes the eccentric tool for making circle wreathes and other great designs (Click here for video on the eccentric tool). Also included is our “Little of Everything” tracing template, which attaches to the Quiltazoid and allows you to work from the front making numerous block designs. The Spiro attachment can be added to the Quiltazoid at any time. With its numerous gear combinations, the Spiro attachment produces hundreds of different trochoids (aka "spirographs) ranging in size from 4" to over 16". This is the fastest and most accurate way of creating dramatic block designs without a computer. Just turn the crank and watch the spiros appear before your eyes! In addition to the Tracing Template included with the purchase of the Quiltazoid, there are many other Tracing Templates available. When attached to the Quiltazoid base, these inexpensive templates help you to quickly make complex designs with great precision.
The Quiltazoid is also designed to accommodate templates from other manufacturers through the use of our exclusive Template Adapter Plate. This allows you to use templates you’ve already purchased (up to 16”) with all the benefits of working from the front of the machine.
For borders and edge to edge quilting, we also offer a number of Continuous Templates. These “long boards” are placed on the quilting machine's rear table. Simply drop the stylus into the track and start sewing. Your quilt will be finished before you know it! Each template is 2 feet long, and they connect end to end with simple dowels and rings (included). No need to worry about the templates sliding around because we've also attached a non-slip fabric to the back of each template. (Click here for video on the Continuous Templates).
Another Quiltazoid exclusive is the Long Board Adapter Kit. This attaches to your Quiltazoid and allows you to use your favorite "edge to edge" templates (up to 24") from the front of the machine. (For more information go to the Continuous Templates tab on our website).
