Many Quiltazoid userslike to make nested (aka Celtic) spiro designs. Here's another idea: You can give your spiros a 3D look (like a ribbon) by simply making a second design that is rotated slightly from the first design. When you finish stitching the first spiro, just engage the lock on the rotating baseplate. Remove the gear cartridge, unlock the baseplate, and rotate the baseplate 1 notch, (or more if you like). Lock the baseplate in the new position, and reinstall the gear cartridge.
